The Open Knowledge Connective helps people find ways to use their knowledge and skills to contribute to the knowledge commons. We do this by building tools to help with discoverability of, and contributing to, projects that are building the knowledge commons.
We are a non-profit initiative that helps projects and organisations that are contributing to the knowledge commons connect with collaborators. The projects we partner with include those that produce content—such as open education resources, open-source software, open hardware designs, open data, and more—that meet the Open Definition.
We're just getting started, and our current focus is on working with educational institutions integrate more contribtions to the knowledge commons into their research and teaching. Of course, welcome all ideas and collaborations that our time and resources allow for. So if you have ideas of how we might be able to help you with your project, please get in touch.
